Seminole Plaza Hotel Managua, Managua

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was spacious and had enough room for my luggage, but the broken air conditioner was quite bothersome throughout the night, leading to wet shoes. The hotel's previous use of carpet was noticeable.

I stayed at the hotel and found the location to be excellent for accessing Metrocenter and amenities along the Carretera a Masaya. The service was a mix of loud salsa music early in the morning and very friendly and helpful staff. The dining experience was top-notch at Lanai restaurant with a variety of dishes to enjoy. However, the room conditions were not ideal with a broken air conditioner and a need for a small refrigerator. The price seemed slightly overpriced for the overall experience.

The hotel is a good choice despite some drawbacks. The rooms are decent, but the air conditioning could be better. The service is top-notch with helpful staff, although there were a few hiccups. The location is convenient, especially for accessing nearby amenities. The dining experience is pleasant, offering a variety of dishes. The facilities meet basic needs adequately.

My room was overlooking the pool which was lovely, but unfortunately, the hotel rented it out for noisy parties during the week. Despite that, the room was very clean with a comfortable bed, nice linens, big towels, a great TV, and excellent air conditioning.
